The Blessings of Paying It Forward!

Heavenly Father gave me a wonderful opportunity this evening to help someone in need. What a blessing it is to be able to do that and not think twice about what you are doing! There have been many times over the last few years with my health issues and my husband's health issues, that we haven't been able to help someone when they needed help, even if it was something simple. I have learned that by setting a Christ-like example in my life for others, that Heavenly Father blesses me and my family and we are in turn able to help those in need around us, even if it is just something simple. Today, being able to do that for someone and knowing that Heavenly Father is pleased with me and will bless me is a wonderful feeling. To know that I helped someone else when they truly needed a show of Christ-like love, is a wonderful feeling! Even a random act of kindness can bring a stranger joy! But just image if you were to perform a random act of kindness to every person you meet and make it a point in your day to NOT know a stranger.....the blessings and the joys you would bring into all those people's lives, not to mention, the blessings you would receive! What a beautiful thought! In the scriptures it says this:

 10 Bring ye all the ^atithes into the storehouse, that there may be^bmeat in mine house, and ^cprove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not ^dopen you the ^ewindows of heaven, and pour you out a ^fblessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

Malachi 3:10

I know this to be true! That is why I love the scriptures so much and the joys and blessings that they can give us! SHOW SOMEONE AN ACT OF RANDOM KINDNESS!! YOU COULD CHANGE EVERYTHING!!
